Royal Mail Announce Record Price Increases
Royal Mail price increases averaging 30% apply from April 2012.With some prices rising by as much as 70% they will seriously affect all business customers. Royal Mail has also revamped their Product Portfolio and product specifications and there are changes to VAT, thereby creating further complexity for customers.
Businesses that still use stamps will also see their postal bill rocket, with a first-class stamp rising to 60p and second-class to 50p, increases of 30% and 38% respectively.
